Alice in Wonderland was produced by the BBC in 1985. I really enjoyed composing the score for this series as it involved many songs and allowed me the opportunity to play games with the music, especially in the instrumentation, of which Lewis Carroll would have approved, I suspect.

There are quotes from other pieces of music and pastiche of familiar styles of the period.
